We have an exciting schedule with dozens of spooky events and attractions for your family to enjoy.  Most events are free while some charge a small fee.  Learn more about Halloweek safety here.

Halloweek kicks off in spooky style with the Witches Ride in Downtown Oxford!  Proceeds benefit the Alabama Children's Museum Fund.  Learn more  
 

Monday, Oct. 26

On Monday night, join us for a Halloween Movie Marathon.  We'll be showing two classics: Beetlejuice and Young Frankenstein.  
 

Tuesday, Oct. 27

Can ghouls eat popcorn?  Of course they can at Little Ghouls Night Out!  Enjoy a kid-friendly night of fun movies along with our Great Cackling Cavern Pumpkin Party in the Studio at OPAC!

Between the movies, your little Ghouls can journey beneath the theatre for our Great Cackling Cavern Pumpkin Party!  The Cackling Cavern (Studio at OPAC) comes alive with spooky music, activities, games, and snacks... all while allowing for social distancing. 
 

Wednesday, Oct. 28

Join us at the Oxford Public Library for a celebration of Kathryn Tucker Windham's 13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey!  Later in the day, Main Street Oxford will bring us the Great Downtown Ghost Hunt! 
 

Thursday, Oct. 29

Thursday begins with Trick-or-Treating at the Oxford Public Library! Later that night, OPAC brings the Headless Horseman to their silver screen with Sleepy Hollow!  After the movie, you are invited to experience The Ghosts of OPAC - Behind the Scenes Tours.  Explore areas long closed to the public while learning about OPAC's haunted history.  Sign-up today before all the spaces are dead and gone.
 

Friday, Oct. 30

Ready to hang out with some cool, creepy canines?  Friday brings dressed-up dogs to Downtown Oxford for FOUR-LEGGED FRIGHT NIGHT.  The schedule includes canine competitions, a pet parade, a free movie in Simmons Bark (park), followed by Fright-Light Spooktacular.  Bring your petrifying pooches and enjoy!  
 

Saturday, Oct. 31

Halloween = the HALLOWEEK grand finale!  The excitement kicks off at the Oxford Civic Center for the annual Halloween Carnival before moving downtown for even more excitement.  

Historic Downtown Oxford will play host to dozens of exciting activities and events on Halloween Night!  See the full schedule below. 

Highlights include performances by your Downtown Ghost Hosts, great bands like $till Broke and Levon, along with more Trick or Treating than you can shake a broom at!
